Women

Our Women's Bible Study is a place where women of all ages can gather to grow in their relationship with Jesus, be encouraged by God's Word, and build meaningful friendships. Together, we study Scripture, pray for one another, share life's joys and challenges, and spur one another on in faith, love, and good works.
Since relaunching in 2021, the group has journeyed through studies in Philippians, James, Revelation, Habakkuk, Genesis, and Ruth, and is currently exploring Jesus' life-changing Sermon on the Mount through an expositional study by Maggie Widener.
Each week, women enjoy a time of fellowship and a shared meal, followed by Bible study, testimonies, and prayer. With approximately 40 women attending, the group provides a welcoming and supportive environment where lasting friendships are formed and faith is strengthened.
The study is led by Maggie Widener, who has faithfully taught Bible studies since 1976. She and her husband, Russ, have served the Lord together in ministry for more than 50 years, and Maggie brings a wealth of biblical knowledge, wisdom, and heartfelt encouragement to the women she teaches.

Bible Study for Moms
Caitlin Pierson

Saved at age 6 and raised in a Southern Baptist, military family, Caitlin Pierson first found her way to Rapid City in 2002 when her father was stationed at Ellsworth AFB. After his retirement and a return from living in Florida, her family moved back to Rapid City until 2013 when Caitlin graduated from Rapid City Christian School.
Following graduation, the Pierson family headed to East Texas, where they lived until 2022 when Caitlin and her son Ryder came back to Rapid City. She was involved in church from an early age, and rededicated her life to Christ in 2021. She has been a member of Landmark since 2022.
Caitlin is a teacher, and when she is not in the classroom, spends her time with her rambunctious, Jesus-loving son, Ryder and two dogs.
As a mom, Caitlin understands the struggles many Christian mothers face raising kids in a world that is fighting to tear kids eyes and hearts away from God. Growing up in a military family, and as a teacher, she understands the need for a strong, tight- knit community of women who can lean on each other and grow in Christ together.
